Consultation sought on Lake Sturgeon and White Sturgeon

Consultation is requested on Lake Sturgeon (Saskatchewan and Nelson River populations) and White Sturgeon (upper Fraser River population. DFO is conducting consultation check-ins on these and a number of other aquatic species under consideration for addition on the List of Wildlife Species at Risk pursuant to SARA. Interested parties are being asked to participate in the consultation check-ins until August 10th, 2023; the consultation check-ins notice can be found at:
